Beautiful Nordic-themed home screen with 4 big buttons that open each mode:

Mode 1 – Viking Quest: Language Raids

• Interactive stylized map of Norway.
• Player explores regions. Each region has short “raids” (language challenges).
• Challenge types: multiple choice, type the word/phrase, listen & choose, optional speech input.
• Success = XP + story progress + unlock next area + collect vocabulary cards.
• Failure = funny Norwegian-themed messages (show in the current UI language).
• Boss fights against grammar concepts (Definite Article Dragon, Gender Troll, etc.).
• Simple inventory and character customization.

Mode 2 – Troll Talk Challenge

• List of short role-play scenarios (ordering coffee, cabin trip, asking a troll for directions, midsummer party, etc.).
• Chat interface with AI characters that have strong personalities.
• User types (or speaks) in Norwegian. Character replies in Norwegian + gives gentle/sarcastic feedback.
• Score based on accuracy, politeness and conversation length.
• Unlock new characters and difficulty levels.
• Random funny events during chat.

Mode 3 – Fjord Runner

• Endless runner game set in Norwegian landscapes (fjords, Bergen rain, Lofoten, Oslo, Svalbard).
• Player runs automatically, collects floating Norwegian words/phrases for points.
• Avoid grammar traps (wrong articles, false friends…).
• Power-ups: shields, slow-motion, verb boosts.
• Optional voice recognition: shout the correct word to jump higher.
• High-score system and unlockable skins.
• Increasing difficulty.

Mode 4 – Brown Cheese Detective

• Series of short interactive mystery cases set in Norwegian towns.
• Player reads dialogues and clues in Norwegian, chooses responses, examines objects.
• Branching story with multiple endings.
• After each case: vocabulary review screen.
• Cases become more absurd and funny while teaching useful everyday Norwegian.
• Collectible case files.
